Beijing, 18 January 2018 - The South African Embassy and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) hosted the 20th Anniversary celebrations of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Africa and the People’s Republic of China. The celebrations were held on the 18th of January 2018 at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. In attendance was the South African Ambassador to China, Her Excellency Ms. Dolana Msimang, Chinese and South African government officials and business representatives, including The Beijing Axis Founder and Group Managing Director, Kobus van der Wath.

BEIJING – 7 December 2017 – The Beijing Axis hosted the South Africa Inc Breakfast on Thursday, December 7, at the Library Room of The Capital Club in Beijing. Associate Professor Mills Soko, Director of the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (UCT GSB) was the Guest of Honor. Also in attendance was Her Excellency Ambassador Dolana Msimang, representatives from the South African Embassy and members of the South African business community.

BEIJING – 15 November 2017 – The Beijing Axis hosted the first workshop of the South African (SA) Students in China Series at its Beijing office. The workshop titled “Listen, Learn, Share: On International Career Advancement” was the first workshop of a series that aims to enhance the skills and employability of SA students, and create a platform for shared learning.
